PeeWee Basketball at St. Aloysius is a youth basketball league held yearly at the St. Aloysius school gym. 2125 N. 21st St. in Springfield, IL. Our league is open to grades PK - 4th. Our registration typically opens late October and ends the first week of December. The season generally starts the second weekend in January and ends the first weekend in March.
We do not have standings, keep win/loss records, or stats. We barely keep score at the higher ages.
Winning and losing are not our concerns at all. Ultimately, we want these kids to have fun playing basketball. There are other leagues in town that play competitive basketball at all age levels. And we understand that our league is not a good fit for every team and/or player. Our rules are set in a way that we feel is best for us.
